Contacts may use their Google Talk address as their e-mail address. Currently, the e-mail address must be stored twice in order to be used in the mail app. Same goes for hotmail and live addresses (after adding support for those).
Those IM details are not used as e-mail address. Examples: @gmail.com or @hotmail.com addresses.

User should be able to choose between different e-mail adresses stored within the contact details. Normal e-mail address stored should be the default. If there's no normal address stored propose to store one of the IM details e-mail addresses.
I hope you guys understand this, hard to type on n900 compared to normal keyboard...
