This is a minor brainstorm but it would be nice to see it implemented.
Volume up/down keys when held adjusts the volume slowly. They should adjust it exponentially as the keys are held.
This is a fast shortcut for volume up/down, and I may want to decrease the volume in a fast way when for example, in Angry birds where I do not have access to the status area, so it would take a while to go to zero.

Hi everyone,
I would very much like to have an application that can monitor my position and warn me, if I get near one specific point.
My use-case is, that I regularily forget to go to the ATM or whatever and would like to have my N900 remind me when I come near.
Is there such an application already?

A mobile device can be gone within seconds, leaving all kinds of private information exposed, so I have my N900 lock within a minute or so. This is generally fine, but at work or particularly at home it's just a nuisance. Hence, it would be nice to define conditions that stop the device from locking.

This might be a little late to implement in Maemo 5, but could still carry on over to MeeGo (Harmattan or MeeGo 1.0) core applications (Phone, Maps, Contacts, App. Manager, etc.).

Hey guys, Ive found a new problem on the n900 recently.
I have a decent pouch for my n900. Everytime i receive a phone call,(when my phone is in my pocket) it automatically answers or cuts the call.
This is obviously due to the awsome responsiveness of the phones touch screen.
So, in order to stop that, can some one please make an app, or change the incoming call screen to "slide to pick up"
and "slide to cancel(or hangup)"??
I hope its not that hard.
let me know if anyone else has the same problem with their n900!
