MMS function by default on the n900

Posted on 2010-04-01 08:48 UTC by Rene Ganzer. Status: Waiting, Categories: Internet & Networking.

I miss the MMS function on the N900. EVERY new Phone on the market supports
MMS, but only the newest and best phone out now, can't do this by default.

Yes i can install Fmms, but it doesnt work for me now with the correct operator
settings to send an image, text yes but thats it.

So it would be super if a menu point mms can be added by default, and the
settings must not get inputed from the user itself. Should work same as
Internet or SMS. Automatic configuration or ordered from Operator.

Please add this feature to the new update.

Thanks

Global SpeedTest

Posted on 2010-02-22 16:08 UTC by Magnus Lundgren. Status: Waiting, Categories: Internet & Networking, Utilities.

I have been using SpeedTest.net to determine the connection speed I can achieve with my N900 and I am quite disappointed with the results I get. My service provider for 3G, Singtel in Singapore, has a plan which should give 'up to' 7.2 Mbps but I usually only reach 1.2-1.3 or so. The question that I have is whether I am the only one experiencing this, or if I'm just unlucky to live, work and play in areas with poor coverage/speed?

rSap is needed see Bug 5204

VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Mercedes Benz cars - and possibly others - use VAG Bluetooth with rSap. (a million+ cars?)

In the original Developers Guide Line the use of rSap was set as "a MUST".

Where is it - I need it and so do thousands of potential N900 users in Europe and the rest of the World!
